Please Say A Prayer For Taylor

My good friend, Crystal, just found out that her 15-year-old daughter, Taylor, has cancer. This is her story...
"I took Taylor to the ER on Monday, March 2nd because she hadn't been feeling well and her stomach had become very distended during the middle of the previous week and did not go down over the weekend.

"In the ER (8 hours of fun, not!) they took some labs and took some Ultrasound pictures. We were told that she had a very large tumor on her right ovary and a smaller one on her left and to contact my GYN the next day. Imagine my surprise when we RECEIVED a phone call from my GYN in regards to Taylor and our ER visit.

"After 4 days of (lost hours in) waiting rooms, exams, blood labs, x-rays, Pet scans, driving hither and yon..........we now know that Taylor has Advanced (stage 4) mixed germ cell ovarian and lung cancer. This type of cancer is very receptive to Chemo, but before that she will have 2 surgeries to remove her right ovary (has a 22 cm tumor), tumor on the left (hopefully save that ovary) and if they come across anything else (hopefully not!)

"Several days later she will have the 2nd surgery to remove tumors on her lung. Probably a week to recover and then chemo (will cross that bridge when we get to it). At this point because she has fluid in her lungs, we will go in for a procedure to remove the fluid (Sunday) and her first surgery will be Monday the 9th.

"Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts. We will probably never be able to express our gratitude for the outpouring already and I know we have quite a rocky road ahead. We'll try to keep you updated"

Say a prayer for Taylor. We Love you Taylor!

Oh, my heart is breaking for her and her family. Prayers are heard and people can be the angels on the errand of the Lord. We will add her and her family to our prayers.
